It is located just one hour away from the center of Athens, at the entrance of Nemea, which makes it the ideal excursion that combines knowledge with taste!
Υour visit to Karamitsos Winery includes:
- A tour to our privately owned vineyards, where everything begins… In the vineyards we will have the opportunity to explain to you the important role of the climate and the terroir of the area.
- After the vineyards we will go to the production site, the first station of the grapes after the harvest… Here you will have the opportunity to learn the journey that the grapes follow from its arrival at the winery to the final stage of bottling.
- Let us guide you through our cellar, for you to discover the vinification process, the aging process of our red wines and the different technics of wine elaboration.
- Enjoy a wine tasting in our winetasting room or to our wonderful garden enjoying the amazing view. Let us help you and guide you to find the perfect wine for you. You can taste all our wines but you’ll have to make a choice since we have 9!
